![]() ![]() We fade to their run cycles arriving at Edd’s house. I have been in love with this Eddy pose since I was 10.Įd finally pops out and tumbles out of his clothes, still stuck to the table. Eddy tries to help him because he’s still a good person. Unfortunately, Eddy’s prank makes it difficult to get Ed out. You know, maybe Eddy’s a jerk to his friends because sometimes they just randomly TRY TO KILL HIM when he comes over.Įd backpedals onto one of his weights and gets stuck to a bunch of stuff. Glue pours on Ed’s head as he tries to follow Eddy. Luckily, Ed isn’t killed.Įd gets up with two lumps, unaware that Eddy has, at some point, hooked the motor’s string to Ed’s collar. UM, ED, THAT’S NOT A PRANK, THAT’S MURDERĮddy grabs it somehow and drops it on Ed. Eddy looks up to see where the string goes. The glue clearly has string tied to it and Ed giggles. Most people know it as Baron O'Beefdip, but we see the fold-out instructions for building it in season 5 and its official name is just “The Monster." Personally, I’ve always imagined it as a chupacabra.Įd is acting very strange and asks Eddy to get him glue for the model. He slides into Ed’s bedroom window because apparently that long field he just ran across was Ed’s backyard.Įd is painting his model. I do find it hilarious how they have Eddy gasping for air the whole time he runs, though. This shot seriously goes on for, like, 10 seconds, that’s way longer than it really needed to go. I’ve been keeping track, and this is the first episode to ever have the opening credits written in a silly font like the title card, instead of in a very stiff and proper font.įade in on a seemingly endless shot of Eddy’s run cycle over a boring looping background. THAT BATON IS THE FOOL AND THE BACKGROUND IS THE HILL. THE TITLE CARD IS LITERALLY REFERRING TO THE BEATLES SONG. There’s a hilly landscape with one tree, and in the foreground there is what appears to be a silly looking jester’s baton. The episode is sort of an April Fool’s Day special, but don’t be misled, it’s still set in summer. I find that very interesting! In season 3, both Ed and Jonny reference Beatles songs. Ed's blank face and the complete and utter silence while everyone just looks at Ed for one continuous shot just makes it.‘Fool on the Ed’ is titled in reference to a Beatles song, 'Fool on the Hill’. but in the process lets go of the big stone withe the footprints on them, on his feet. it was a fun episode and had some great jokes like Ed trying to help Jimmy. One of my favourite episodes was If It Smells Like an Ed where the Eds are framed. #Ed edd n eddy sound effects running movieThat being said, the movie was fantastic, it kept everything that made the show great while also going in to a bit of Eddy's character and the Eds's friendship. It was so odd to see this show, that I was so used to watching for the past ten years, end. It went on for ten years and I loved it just as much as when it first began. This show will always have a special place in my heart. Aside from animation improvements of course. But as time went on I also began to appreciate the show's fourth wall jokes, hilarious facial expressions and adult jokes.Įven if Nazz became a bit more dumb as the show went on and Ed a lot more dumb(to the point of not even coherent sentences though by the end he did revert back to his original intelligence), they were still funny and everything else about the show stayed the same. I think at the time, it was the cartoon violence and it's fun humor. ![]() I ended up watching it and I became a fan of it. ![]() I remember seeing the promo for it on my Zombie Island VHS. ![]()
